Daniel Meaden

Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Daniel is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with eight years of experience delivering evidence-based exercise therapy across a broad range of clinical populations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University, and is currently practising in both clinical and performance-based settings.

His clinical interests include metabolic health, osteoporosis, mental health, balance training, menopause, and the application of resistance training across the lifespan. He has particular experience working with older adults and individuals living with disability, supporting patients to improve strength, confidence, and physical capacity in a safe and structured way.

A core focus of his work is introducing individuals to resistance training who may have never previously engaged in structured exercise. Through progressive, individualised programming, he aims to build strong, resilient bodies that support independence, daily function, and long-term participation in the activities people value as they age.

His approach to care is highly personalised and grounded in current evidence. He works closely within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with General Practitioners and allied health professionals to ensure exercise programs are aligned with medical management, individual goals, and lifestyle demands. Clear communication and shared clinical understanding are central to achieving optimal outcomes for each patient.

He is a strong advocate for the role of resistance training in health and wellbeing, believing that strength training is appropriate and beneficial for everyone, regardless of age or prior experience, and plays a critical role in maintaining quality of life.

Outside of clinical practice, Daniel has a lifelong background in sport and continues to compete in beach volleyball. He has also maintained a daily ocean dipping routine since August 2019, a personal practice that reflects his commitment to physical resilience, longevity, and overall well being.

Daniel is based at Mobius in Joondalup.
