Dr Sharon Vasey

Specialist General Practitioner Women's Health | Medical Educator

Dr Sharon Vasey is a UK-trained Specialist General Practitioner with 27 years of clinical experience. She relocated to Perth, Western Australia in 2010 and has since continued her commitment to high-quality, patient-centred primary care.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK), Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Diploma of Faculty of Family Planning and Diploma of Geriatric Medicine.

Dr Vasey has a longstanding special interest in women’s health and holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK).

Her clinical focus includes menopause care, contraception, antenatal care, and the management of complex and persistent pelvic pain.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Vasey has been a Medical Educator for over six years, delivering women’s health education and workshops to General Practitioners in training. Her teaching experience reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and mentoring junior colleagues.

While significant advances have been made in menopause care, Dr Vasey recognises the ongoing prevalence of myths and misinformation—particularly surrounding menopausal hormone therapy. She provides clear, evidence-based guidance, ensuring her patients are supported by accurate information rather than headlines or social media narratives.  She is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and attended the 2025 AMS Congress in Fremantle.

Driven by this philosophy, Dr Vasey has founded a GP-led, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals with specialised expertise in women’s health, and a particular focus on menopause management and persistent pelvic pain. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive, informed, and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Tracy Gaibisso is a Clinical Naturopath and Herbalist who has been in practice since 2002, with a deep and long-standing passion for supporting women through their reproductive years and into menopause.

She has a special interest in endometriosis, fertility, and menopausal health, and previously served on the Clinical Advisory Committee of Endometriosis Australia.

Discovering a love of study as a mature-age student, Tracy continued to expand her expertise beyond her undergraduate naturopathic qualifications. She has completed postgraduate studies in Fertility Management, Wellness, and Teaching & Learning, and in 2018 graduated with a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

Tracy’s approach to naturopathic care blends ancestral wisdom with evidence-based research. She sees naturopathy as a bridge between traditional healing and modern science, enabling her to think both creatively and critically to deliver innovative, personalised care.

Her clinical work focuses on walking alongside each client, helping them understand their body, their hormones, and their unique path toward healing.

In practice, Tracy meets her clients exactly where they are. She supports individuals navigating endometriosis, fertility challenges, perimenopause, menopause, and complex hormonal concerns with compassion and clarity. Dr Isabel Fernandez

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Isabel Fernandez is a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years of experience specialising in the impact of women’s health concerns (including endometriosis, infertility, pelvic pain and menopause) on emotional well-being, day to day coping and quality of life.

Her passion is longstanding and, in 2003, Dr Fernandez’s doctoral research explored the impact of Endometriosis on quality of life and well-being of women and their partners. Her research and work in private practice has been recognised with the Elaine Dignan Award, a national award for her contribution to women and psychology. She is published in international journals, has been invited as a lecturer and guest speaker at universities and forums. Dr Fernandez is an AHPRA board approved supervisor and is active in providing clinical supervision to other psychologists.

Her focus in psychology is trying to help clients make sense of what is going on in their lives and how they think and feel about it and how they are responding to it. Her therapeutic style is most aligned with client-centered therapy. In this approach, the client is considered an equal partner in the therapy process. It is intended to allow clients to fulfill that potential by relying on their own strength to change. She draws on techniques including genuineness and congruence, unconditional positive regard and empathetic understanding to help her clients grow psychologically, become more self-aware, and reach their goals.

Dr Fernandez believes that a GP led multidisciplinary approach is fundamental to positive and meaningful outcomes for her clients.  Her practice is located in Kingsley.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University, and is currently practising in both clinical and performance-based settings.

His clinical interests include metabolic health, osteoporosis, mental health, balance training, menopause, and the application of resistance training across the lifespan. He has particular experience working with older adults and individuals living with disability, supporting patients to improve strength, confidence, and physical capacity in a safe and structured way.

A core focus of his work is introducing individuals to resistance training who may have never previously engaged in structured exercise. His approach to care is highly personalised and grounded in current evidence. He works closely within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with General Practitioners and allied health professionals to ensure exercise programs are aligned with medical management, individual goals, and lifestyle demands. Clear communication and shared clinical understanding are central to achieving optimal outcomes for each patient.

He is a strong advocate for the role of resistance training in health and wellbeing, believing that strength training is appropriate and beneficial for everyone, regardless of age or prior experience, and plays a critical role in maintaining quality of life.

Outside of clinical practice, Daniel has a lifelong background in sport and continues to compete in beach volleyball. He has also maintained a daily ocean dipping routine since August 2019, a personal practice that reflects his commitment to physical resilience, longevity, and overall well being.

Bo Youn Kim

Hormone Health Pharmacist

Bo is a Hormone Health Pharmacist with lived experience of perimenopause. Like many women, her journey wasn’t straightforward and, despite being a pharmacist, it took seeing four different GPs before she finally received appropriate treatment.  That experience was a turning point for her, and she realised that if she was struggling to access the right care and information, so many other women would be struggling even more.

With over 19 years of clinical pharmacy experience in tertiary hospital settings, she has spent her career working closely with multidisciplinary teams and supporting patients through complex health journeys. That background, combined with her personal experience, is what led her to focus her practice on perimenopause and menopause care.

Navigating this stage of life can feel confusing and overwhelming — especially when symptoms don’t fit neatly into a box, or you feel dismissed or unheard. You don’t have to do it alone. Her specialised clinical assessments are designed to help you make sense of what’s happening in your body and guide you toward evidence-based options that support your health, comfort, and quality of life.

In her one-on-one consultations, she takes the time to really listen. Your symptoms, health history, and lifestyle are explored in depth, and she provides clear, practical education so you can make informed choices. Whether you’re considering hormone therapy, non-hormonal options, or lifestyle and holistic strategies, every recommendation is tailored to your unique needs, stage of life, and personal goals.

In addition to clinical consultations, she specialises in delivering workplace and community education sessions. These sessions are designed to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and empower individuals, teams, and organisations with practical, evidence-based information about perimenopause and menopause.

Her goal is to empower you with clarity and confidence. From symptom relief and sleep support to bone health, mood changes, and sexual wellbeing, she supports your whole health — not just your hormones.

If you’re ready to feel more informed, supported, and like yourself again, Bo is here to help.
